WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
We started Freebirds Hostel with nothing but a dream, a few surfboards, and the wish to create something real. What began as a tiny 10-bed hostel has now grown into a lively 18-bed surf home where travelers, friends, and locals meet to share waves, laughter, and good energy.
I’ve spent years living in hostels and surf camps across Morocco learning what feels right and what’s missing. That’s why Freebirds was built differently: with heart, honesty, and the goal to make every guest feel safe, welcomed, and worth every dirham they spend.
Today, with the help of my family and team, Freebirds is more than a place to sleep it’s a place to belong.

How can I even begin to describe my time with Freebirds… It was simply unforgettable! I came for a surf trip but found a place that felt like home.
